MailChimp, the great companion to my Google Analytics plugin, called Analytics360°.

I should clarify: you do not need to use MailChimp to be able to use this plugin!

Now I couldn’t help myself, I had to peak inside the plugin. By default it shows a “site traffic” view, with the following tabs: “all traffic”, “email”, “organic” and “referral”. Now because I use my own Google Analytics plugin, I know my RSS traffic is tagged with RSS as the medium, and because I use Sociable in combination with awe.sm, that traffic is tagged too.

Now I’ve found that it’s very easy to add those two traffic sources to the dashboard.

To do this, go into the plugin directory, into the subfolder called js, and open the file a360.js. On line 814 (in this version of the plugin at least), I changed this:

if ([‘all traffic’, ‘cpc’, ’email’,
‘organic’, ‘referral’].indexOf(name) >= 0) {

Into:

if ([‘all traffic’, ‘cpc’, ’email’, ‘rss’, ‘yoa.st-twitter’,
‘organic’, ‘referral’].indexOf(name) >= 0) {

MailChimp, marele insotitor al pluginului Google Analytics, denumit Analytics360°.
Trebuie sa clarific: nu trebuie sa folositi programul MailChimp pentru a putea folosi acest plugin!

Acum nu m-am putut abtine si a trebuit sa intru in codul pluginului. Default arata o vedere a “traficului site-ului”, cu urmatoarele taburi: “tot traficul”, “email”, “organic” si “referral”. Acum din cauza ca folosesc propriul plugin Google Analytic stiu ca traficul RSS-ului meu sunt legate cu RRS-ul ca un medium, si pentru ca folosesc Sociable in combinatie cu awe.sm, traficul este legat de asemeni.

Acum am aflat ca este foarte usor de adaugat aceste doua surse de trafic la Dashboard-ul WordPress-ului.

Pentru a face asta, duceti-va in directorul pluginului, in subfolderul denumit js, si deschideti pagina denumita a360.js . Pe linia 814 (in versiunea asta de plugin cel putin) am schimbat asta:

if ([‘all traffic’, ‘cpc’, ’email’,
‘organic’, ‘referral’].indexOf(name) >= 0) {

În:

if ([‘all traffic’, ‘cpc’, ’email’, ‘rss’, ‘yoa.st-twitter’,
‘organic’, ‘referral’].indexOf(name) >= 0) {

Varianta de mai sus merge doar atunci cand sunteti detinatorul unui domeniu, aveti hostingul / gazduirea platita si ati instalat platforma WordPress !
